HMES WAS CONCEPTUALIZED IN EARLY 2006 AS A CONSTELLATION OF TERRESTRIAL TRAINING STATIONS WITH A KEY OBJECTIVE TO STUDY, IDENTIFY AND ANALYSE, FROM EARTH, FAR REACHING OUTER SPACE CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES, IN ORDER TO PREPARE HUMANS FOR EXPLORATIVE MISSIONS TO THE MOON, MARS AND BEYOND.
Since then the project has expanded to include state of the art Ground Systems Architecture for Sustainable Settlements & Communities and STEM Aerospace Education Centres to inspire, educate, innovate, engage and employ everybody in an accountable way.
The HMES project provides a number of mixed-use urban facilities and terrestrial service products, where humans can study, live, work and experience together. HMES operates as an open organization for the global community and International Space Agencies to connect and experience environmental management, science planning, quantum observation and human biomedical advancements along with the application of technologies that improve longevity and the quality of life on Earth and in the Cosmos.
The advancement of these technologies are encouraged and supported by the estimation, that beyond Low Earth Orbit (LEO), are asteroid mining prospects worth quintillion-dollars in precious metals as gold, platinum, rhodium and regolith (usable in radiation shielding). The Investors who know the potential of space technologies for resource mining exploration, are currently focused on space-earth-based economies for long-term sustainable wealth generation. These are some of the many HMES’ partners who are enabling this project.
